Free Captivate 9 upgrade available to TCS 2015 customers
On August 26, 2015, Adobe released Adobe Technical Communication Suite (2015 release) Update 1.
For TCS 2015 customers, the significant feature is the inclusion of Captivate 9 in the suite. To upgrade from Captivate 8, do one of the following:
Please follow the following instructions to install this update.
- Volume customers (CLP/TLP/ETLA) may download the latest build of Adobe Technical Communication Suite (2015 release) from their LWS account
- Subscription customers may download the latest build of Adobe Technical Communication Suite (2015 release) after signing in to their subscription account
- Retail customers may download the Adobe Captivate 9 trial software using Adobe Application Manager on the same machine that has Adobe Technical Communication Suite; the trial will be automatically licensed.
In addition, Adobe released updates to FrameMaker (2015 release), FrameMaker XML Author (2015 release) and RoboHelp (2015 release). Be sure to install the patches for these applications to get additional functionality, including access to Adobe Digital Publishing Solution (DPS) output.
