You probably already know you can get 2 free gigabytes of cloud storage by signing up for a free Dropbox account. But if you haven’t signed up for a free account yet, you can get an extra 500 megabytes of permanent space free (a total of 2.5 gigabytes) by clicking below.
Sign up for Dropbox for a free 2.5 gigabytes of cloud storage
In fact, if you sign up with my link, I get an extra 500 megabytes of permanent space (up to a point), so you’re doing me a favor as well.
But assuming you already have an account, you can still visit https://www.dropbox.com/getspace to see different ways that Dropbox will let you earn additional storage space on your existing account.
For example, I just got an extra 250 megabytes by completing two easy tasks on the https://www.dropbox.com/getspace page:
- Follow Dropbox on Twitter – 125MB
- Write a short text why you love Dropbox – 125MB
While you’re there, sign up for an additional free business account. The business account gives you 2 more gigabytes of space along with options for sharing that space with coworkers or family.
Of course, if you really want to push up your allowed space, you can always pass along this info to your social circles and ask folks without an account to sign up to give you that extra 500 megabytes, up to an additional 16 gigabytes!
