FrameMaker 2017: Mobile publishing improvements
There are a number of significant improvements in mobile/online publishing in FrameMaker 2017.
Here’s a list of the more significant changes:
- You now have the option to merge all CSS into a single file, simplifying the process of formatting unmapped styles.
- Inline styles can now be excluded from output, giving better control over published content
- Keep all topics in one folder provides a flatter output file structure
- Common images are now properly referenced from a common location, rather than processed and published for each occurence
- SVG now fully embedded in output, allowing for text search of SVG images
- Embed fonts in EPUB
- Improved 508 Compliance
